Bonjour mate!

Hi, I'm Claire - Upstride's newest team member (because yes, Upstride is going bigger and multicultural!). After my internship at the end of 2020, I am excited to stay longer with Upstride as its first Public Relations Assistant in Creative Operations.

I'm originally from Mauritius Island (tiny island, part of Africa) and speak French as my first language. I've lived in England and France for 3 years, where I got my diploma in Graphic Design.

After a few months back working in Mauritius, I was missing the ‘human’ purpose in my career. I then decided to fly to Melbourne to begin university, majoring in Public Relations and hoping to learn about powerful communication strategies to create meaningful change.

I'll soon be graduating from my Bachelor of Communications in Public Relations, and I'm looking forward to learning from Upstride and helping to achieve our vision to create a better world.

It's really important to me to find and create real purpose in my work. Waking up every morning, knowing that I’m progressing towards sustainable change, not just for me, but also for people around me and further.

In the near future, I'd like to settle in Australia to develop my career and to continue living my ‘Melbourne dream’ (with more sun if possible), between sport activities and nature discoveries.
